Jaime Campos Resigns from Border Authority

Jaime Campos, executive director of the New Mexico Border Authority, has apparently resigned as of last Tuesday, April 7. Campos headed the agency from early 2003 until now. It is not clear why he resigned, and no replacement has been named.

Jaime Campos was the only person the State of New Mexico had to do business with Mexico and now he is gone. This is a great lose to the State of New Mexico, now we are left with a staff that can not even speak the language.

Jaime Campos was the best man for the job. I agree with the other comment; New Mexico has lost a good Director, but I am not surprised at the parochial and idiotic politics of the state. Someone was jealous, envious or both.
