of delay, Virgin Galactic prepares for spaceflights from NM: Heath Houssamen, NMPolitics.net
Comments on Readings:Harold Morgan has updated his jobs report for NM, always worth looking at. Houssamen reports Virgin Galactic is at least telling us--in their normal over-the-top PR style--they are going ahead with plans to continue with the (New Mexico?) Spaceport project. Senator George Muñoz, who sponsored a bill to sell the Spaceport, is still skeptical. Muñoz has, by the way, announced his intention to run for land commissioner next year. Justin Fox has a section on Hispanics in his article on segregated job markets. Finally, there is an excellent article from the Fed in San Francisco, examining the likely impact of China on the global price of oil in future years, something all New Mexicans should stay on top of.
