César Duarte, former Governor of Chihuahua, Formally Expelled from the PRI
Will Peña Nieto be Expelled for taking a $100 million bribe from Chapo?

The National Political Council of the PRI, the party that took Peña Niete to power, has formally expelled former Governor César Duarte from the Party.  He has been living in El Paso since he left the governorship in 2016, on the lam wanted in Mexico for stealing large quantities of money, with some estimates as high as $300 million.  The PRI Commission on Party Justice recommended the expulsion earlier this year.  Enrique Peña Nieto, President of Mexico from 2012-2018, was accused by a key Colombian witness, in the trial of Chapo Guzman in New York, of taking a $100 million bribe from Chapo, as well as allowing the PRI to embezzle millions of pesos in public funds for use in political campaigns.
